grounding system. Cable shall be a minimum of 15 feet in length. A red
caution tag marked "Connect to the facility grounding system prior to connecting
the power supply" shall be permanently attached to the cable. A warning placard
marked "Caution do not move this test unit from one location to another unless
the test facility ventilating system is in operation" shall be installed on the
portable (auxiliary) unit in a conspicuous location. Casters (and bearings) used
on portable (auxiliary) electrical components used in hazardous locations shall
be designed to prevent the possibility of static electrical discharge. Laminated
phenolic tires shall be used.

resistant steel or aluminum alloy and shall be provided with readily removable
clean-out plate(s). Reservoir fittings may be a part of the removable clean-out
plate. Reservoirs shall be of welded construction and provided with the necessary
inlets, outlets, vent, gage connections or flame arrestors when required by the
detail specification; stainless steel, brass or other corrosion-resistant metal
fittings shall be attached by atomic-hydrogen welding, brazing, or silver soldering.
Method of attaching fittings shall be accomplished in a manner to reduce the
possibility of electrolytic corrosion or erosion to a minimum. All reservoirs
shall be thoroughly neutralized and cleaned for removal of weld flux, scale and
other foreign matter from the interior and exterior of the reservoir. Reservoirs
shall be sloped to permit complete gravity drainage of the fluid, A sump shall
be provided below the inlet port of the pump.
Capacity - Reservoirs shall have a minimum capacity

in gallons equal to or greater than 1-1/2 times the maximum flow in gallons per
minute of the fluid system.
Baffles - Baffles, if required, shall be installed in such

a manner as to prevent pressure pulsations and reduce turbulence and aeration
to a minimum. Baffles shall be located with sufficient clearance at the bottom of
the reservoirs to prevent an accumulation of foreign matter.
3.4.3.1.3
Reservoir pressure - The reservoir shall be designed
to withstand a minimum of 2 psi internal pressure without leakage or permanent
distortion (see 6.3.3(a)).
