MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TEST EQUIPMENT; HAZARDOUS LOCATION, INSTALLED;
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR
This specifications mandatory for use by
all Departments and Agencies of the Depart-
ment of Defense.

SCOPE
1.1
This specification covers installed hazardous location test
equipment for aircraft, engine, guided missiles and related accessories and
components thereof and shall become a part of a detailed specification by attach-
ment or reference. Hazardous location equipment is defined as test equipment
operating in a hazardous location due to explosive vapors or utilizing test fluids
F or less, or when test conditions exceed the flash
having a flash point of
